| In this day and age everyone seems to have a digital camera. So it’s not unusual for a couple to think, Uncle Bob has a good camera and he takes good pictures maybe he’ll shoot our wedding and we can save some money. It sounds like a good idea, but is it? Uncle Bob may have a new camera and he may take good pictures, BUT Uncle Bob probably doesn’t know anything about shooting a wedding.
While uncle Bob is a great guy and means well, his posed shots will look candid and his candid shots will look posed. He will miss most of the spontaneous moments because he isn’t used to watching for them. After all is said and done you will be left with pictures of your wedding that are lifeless and lack creativity.
A year from now the cake will be gone, the food will be gone and the music will no longer be heard, but you will have your pictures for a lifetime. It would be a better idea to let Uncle Bob bake the cake.
